The Claremont Pier

Also just over the road is the Claremont Pier, whose facilities include traditional arcade and roller skating rink and the Aquarium Live Music Venue.

Great Yarmouth

Arguably the best place to go for fish and chips and just a 20 minute drive up the A12 away. Be sure to visit the marketplace to try the traditional seaside snacks.

Sparrows Nest Park

A quaint little park with coffee shop, bandstand and bowls green, just a short distance from the sea and to England’s most easterly point, Ness Point.

Pleasurewood Hills

A Family theme park, just up the A12 past Lowestoft on the way to Corton village, with over 40 rides and attractions for all the family.

Africa Alive Wildlife Park

Approximately a 30 minutes drive away is Minsmere, a 3.74 square mile nature reserve recognised for it’s high diversity of bird species and other wildlife. It is known as one of the UK’s premier bird watching sites.


Located approximately 20 miles in land is the famous and vibrant city of Norwich, with a wide range of shops, restaurants and pubs.
